Dag Skattum, Managing Director, is the head of Long Term Private Capital’s London office. Dag brings over 30 years of experience across private equity and strategic advisory.

Dag has deep private investment experience and in his role serves a trusted advisor in Europe with strong connections to corporate management and boards, families and family offices, and the financial sponsor community.


Dag was most recently a Vice Chairman and Member of the Global Banking Management Team at J.P. Morgan, where he helped grow the number of successful M&A mandates and equity and debt financings, and served as Co-Chair of the Global Strategic Advisory Council. He worked closely with bankers to elevate J.P. Morgan’s strategic advisory dialogue with clients and enhance collaboration across the firm.


Dag previously served as a partner at TPG Capital, where he helped drive sourcing and expand relationships with management teams, families and other potential counterparties.

Dag previously served as Co-Head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions at J.P. Morgan. He has significant M&A and advisory experience across sectors, including industrials, energy and resources, technology, financial services, and healthcare.


Dag also has significant board experience, advising on investment and capital allocation decisions.


Dag received an MBA from the University of Rochester and B.A. from Allegheny College.
