Managing Director, Head of Long Term Private Capital Europe

Dag Skattum, Managing Director, is the Head of Europe for BlackRock Long Term Private Capital, based in London. Dag brings over 35 years of investing and leadership experience. Dag currently sits on the boards of Authentic and Heywood, and previously sat on the board of Creed.

 

Prior to joining BlackRock, Dag was chairman of global banking at J.P. Morgan and co-chairman of the firm's Global Strategic Advisory Council. Dag previously served as a partner with TPG, based in London responsible for sourcing and expanding relationships with management teams, families and other potential counterparts.

 

Prior to TPG, Dag spent 21 years with J.P. Morgan, most recently as co-head of global mergers and acquisitions.

 

Dag currently serves as the chairman of Right To Play, a global NGO that works to protect, educate, and empower over 2 million of the world's most vulnerable children across Africa, the Middle East and Asia using the power of play.

 

Dag received an MBA from the University of Rochester and a BA from Allegheny College.
