Index Objective

The BlackRock iBonds® 1-5 Year TIPS Ladder Index (the “Index”) provides exposure to U.S. Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) spanning five consecutive maturity years. The Index obtains this exposure by holding iShares® iBonds® ETFs as constituents. The Index is reconstituted and rebalanced annually by replacing the ETF that terminates in the current year with one that terminates five years out
and assigning equal weights to each constituent.
