Nicholas Kramvis, Director, is a portfolio manager on the Agency Mortgage Team within BlackRock's Global Fixed Income (GFI) platform.
Nicholas joined BlackRock in May 2016, and focuses on Agency MBS alpha strategies, as well as the management and execution of Agency Collateralized Mortgage Obligations (“CMOs”) and Derivatives. Nicholas is a portfolio manager on the BlackRock Mortgage-Backed Securities Fund and a co-lead portfolio manager on the BlackRock Income Trust, a mortgage focused closed-end fund.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Nicholas was a Vice President at Barclays, where he had been a member of the Agency CMO Trading and Structuring Desk since 2008. At Barclays, he was responsible for the active management and trading of the Agency Mortgage Derivatives book as well as for identifying collateral and structures for new issue CMOs. Nicholas started his career on the Agency MBS desk at Lehman Brothers in 2007.
Nicholas graduated from the University of Chicago in 2007, majoring in Mathematics, Computer Science and Economics.
