Chi Chen, Managing Director, is a Portfolio Manager in BlackRock's Global Fixed Income Investment Group, focusing on U.S. multi-sector fixed income and global government bond mandates. She is Co-Portfolio Manager of BlackRock's Total Return Fund, Core Bond Fund, U.S. Dollar Bond Fund, Global Government Bond Fund, and iShares Total Return Active ETF.
Ms. Chen focuses on macro positioning and asset allocation across global fixed income. She leads research efforts for U.S. rates in the Global Fixed Income platform and contributes to the platform's top-down investment process, including regime identification, investment thesis development, strategic and tactical asset allocation, and portfolio construction across investment strategies. Prior to becoming a portfolio manager, Ms. Chen was a senior macro researcher focused on developing the macroeconomic outlook and formulating investment views across interest rate markets.
Ms. Chen joined BlackRock as an analyst in the Global Fixed Income Investment Group. She earned a BA degree, magna cum laude, in Economics and Statistics from Mount Holyoke College.
