Nicolas Gomez

Nicolas Gomez is BlackRock’s Head of Latin America iShares.

Mr. Gomez joined BlackRock in 2006. Prior to his current role, he headed iShares Sales for the Latin America and Iberia region. Before that, his main focus was in the development of the iShares business in Mexico, where he lived for 3 years. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Gomez spent five years at Merrill Lynch in San Francisco holding roles within Institutional Equity Sales and Investment Banking.

Mr. Gomez is a native of Colombia. He holds an Industrial Engineering and Operations Research degree from U.C. Berkeley and an MBA in Finance and Economics from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley.
