Carrie King, Managing Director, is Global Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of BlackRock Fundamental Equities.
Ms. King’s service with the firm dates back to 1993, including her years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. Ms. King was previously CIO of U.S. and Developed Markets for Fundamental Equities and had served various roles as a member of the Basic Value investment team, including portfolio manager, senior fund analyst and industry analyst, all with an emphasis on a value-oriented investment style. Prior to joining MLIM, Ms. King was an industry analyst in leveraged finance for The Fuji Bank and a sell-side equity securities analyst for Kidder, Peabody & Co. She began her career as a research analyst for John Hancock Financial Services.
Ms. King earned a BS degree in business administration from Boston University and an MBA degree from New York University.
