Improving macroeconomic stability, stronger public finances and renewed investor confidence are unlocking opportunities across energy, water, transport and digital infrastructure.
BlackRock and Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a part for BlackRock convened policymakers, global investors and industry leaders to explore how infrastructure can drive jobs, productivity and long-term economic resilience, while improving service delivery and advancing equality.
Discussions highlighted the scale of opportunity, from energy market reform and logistics revitalisation to South Africa’s emergence as a regional digital hub, and the critical role of mobilising private capital alongside public investment to deliver at scale.
