Diego Mora, Director, is Head of Business Development in Colombia, leading BlackRock's efforts across market segments. Mr. Mora has been in Colombia since 2012, when he moved to open the BlackRock office after spending four years in the Brazil office.


Since he joined the firm in 2006 and until 2012, Mr. Mora was involved in the different phases of the business in Brazil, from developing the business plan, to working on product development and finally working with clients in different segments of the Brazilian market (pension funds, asset managers, family offices, broker dealers and prop desks).


Prior to BlackRock, Mr. Mora accumulated four years of experience as Economic Research Analyst and Asset Allocation Specialist at Skandia Pensiones y Cesantias and Citibank, in Bogota, Colombia.


Mr. Mora received his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, and his BA in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish and conversational in German.
