Sustainability Reports - Disclaimer

As an active member institution of the Asset Management Association Switzerland (AMAS) and a Swiss fund management company, BlackRock Asset Management Schweiz AG (“BlackRock”) implemented the Self‑Regulation on Transparency and Disclosure for Sustainability‑Related Collective Assets issued by AMAS (the “Self-Regulation”) with respect to Swiss funds marketed as sustainable.

In this context, sustainability reports for three Swiss funds (sub‑funds of the BlackRock Investment Funds Switzerland (BIFS) umbrella fund) were published on the BlackRock website for the reporting period from 1 August 2024 to 31 July 2025.

The amended version of the Self‑Regulation (version 2.2), which entered into force on 18 September 2025, introduced revised requirements for the marketing of funds as sustainable. Following a reassessment under the revised Self-Regulation, these sub-funds are no longer classified or marketed as sustainable. The relevant prospectuses (including the integrated fund contracts) were updated accordingly and the names of the Swiss sub-funds formerly in scope were amended to remove the terms “ESG” and “ESG Screened”:

  • iShares SBI® Screened AAA-BBB Bond Index Fund (CH);
  • iShares World ex Switzerland Screened Equity Index Fund (CH);
  • iShares World ex Switzerland Small Cap Screened Equity Index Fund (CH).

Consequently, as of the subsequent reporting period, the publication of sustainability reports for these sub-funds is no longer required under the Self-Regulation.
