U.S. Head of the Official Institutions Group

Xianji Quan, CAIA, Director, is the U.S. Head of the Official Institutions Group. Leading New York- based OIG client team, Ms. Quan develops and manages sovereign wealth and global official institutions clients based in North America, as well as leads account coverage for multilaterals including the United Nations and the World Bank Group. Ms. Quan also partners with local client teams in APAC to co-lead some of the largest official institutions in the region.

 

Prior to this role, Ms. Quan spent nearly five years at Manulife in Hong Kong, most recently as an institutional relationship manager at Manulife Asset Management focusing on clients based in Asia as well as Europe. Ms. Quan started her career at ICAP in London as a finance analyst responsible for financial and management reporting of ICAP's various brokerage businesses.

 

Ms. Quan ranked 1st amongst candidates from Jilin Province in China when entering Sun Yat-sen University, where she earned a Bachelors in Accounting. Ms. Quan was the Top Scorer of professional chartered accountancy qualification (ACCA) exam in 2012. She also holds a Master's degree in Economic History from London School of Economics.

 

Ms. Quan is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst as well as a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), and she can speak fluent Japanese, English, Korean and Chinese and conversational French and Cantonese.
