Katherine Tweedie is Country Head of Canada at BlackRock, leading the firm's institutional, wealth, iShares, technology solutions businesses in the region. BlackRock is proud to support Canadians with investment solutions that are designed to help them meet their unique financial objectives.
With over 20 years of industry experience across asset management, investment banking and private equity, Katherine joined BlackRock from global asset management firm, Ninety-One, where she was Co-Head of North America Institutional, Head of Canada and founder of the firm's Investment Institute. Earlier in her career, she held roles at the World Economic Forum, CIBC Capital Markets and BMO Nesbitt Burns.
Katherine holds a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria, Canada. She is a member of the Business Council of Canada, a fellow, board member, and moderator of the Aspen Institute's Finance Leaders Fellowship, and serves on the Investment Committee of Women's College Hospital Foundation in Toronto.
