Email is the default communication preference for all iShares ETF investors.

This supports BlackRock’s sustainability strategy by reducing paper consumption while still ensuring a high standard of service for our clients.

This means:

  • All statements (distribution, tax, etc.) will be emailed to you
  • Postal statements are only sent if you request them in the Investor Centre

Note: CHESS holding statements from the ASX will continue to be mailed to you by post at the end of each month whenever your unit balance changes, with one statement provided for each security.

You can update your email or communication preferences anytime in the Investor Centre.

Choose how you want to receive fund distributions:

Providing your Tax File Number/Australian Business Number (TFN/ABN) is optional, but if you don’t, iShares is required to withhold tax at the highest marginal rate plus applicable levies.

We require this information to confirm your country of tax residence and meet regulatory obligations.
