About the Fund

The fund is managed by a team of more than 170 investment professionals1 who identify and evaluate potential income opportunities worldwide across diverse asset classes including fixed income, cash, equities, property and infrastructure.

Investment objective

The fund seeks to provide regular income at an attractive yield while preserving capital. Through a globally diversified portfolio of income generating assets, it offers investors a balance between the income they receive and the risk they take to get it.

    Since March 2013, the Australian share class of the BGF Global Multi Asset Income Fund has delivered an average annual yield of 7.4%2. Distributions are monthly, providing regular income to investors.

Diversification ensures that risk is spread across a number of assets and geographies, with the fund’s objective of taking less risk than a balanced portfolio of 50% equities and 50% bonds. This has been evident in its performance in times of market stress.
