Carrie King, Managing Director, is Chief Investment Officer of U.S. and Developed Markets within BlackRock’s Fundamental Equities business.

 

Ms. King's service with the firm dates back to 1993, including her years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. Ms. King has been a member of the Basic Value team serving several roles, including portfolio manager, senior fund analyst, and industry analyst, all with an emphasis on a value-oriented investment style. Prior to joining MLIM, Ms. King was an industry analyst in leveraged finance for The Fuji Bank and a sell-side equity securities analyst for Kidder, Peabody & Co. She began her career as a research analyst for John Hancock Financial Services.

 

Ms. King earned a BS degree in business administration from Boston University and an MBA degree from New York University.
