Pieter Houlleberghs

Pieter Houlleberghs is a founding member of Decarbonization Partners, BlackRock's joint venture with Temasek that will invest in the next generation of innovative decarbonization solutions and businesses to accelerate global efforts to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

Prior to joining BlackRock Pieter led Temasek's energy transition and circular economy growth investment activity in the Americas. Pieter joined Temasek in 2013 in Singapore and established the firm's strategy shift from resource extraction to clean energy and resource efficiency. In 2016 Pieter transferred to New York to build out Temasek's network, partnership ecosystem and direct investment portfolio.

Pieter has 17 years of investment experience in the global energy and materials sectors. He has been responsible for originating and executing public and private investments across the capital structure and engaging with portfolio companies to achieve attractive investment return outcomes.
