Pablo Arteaga

Pablo Arteaga, Director, heads the Official Institutions Group for Latin America and the Caribbean, reporting to BlackRock's Latin America Regional Team. He is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Official Institutions across Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Prior to joining BlackRock in 2013, Mr. Arteaga was Executive Director at UBS where he worked a total of 10 years, covering central banks and official institutions for the investment bank. He also served in the same capacity for 8 years at ABN AMRO. In between the two firms he worked for 2 years at Tradeweb LLC promoting their ecommerce trading platforms. Mr. Arteaga began his career at the Central Bank of Bolivia where he worked for 3 years and was the Head of Investments for the International Reserve Management Department.

Mr. Arteaga earned a BA degree in Economics from the University of Richmond and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of International Management.
