Lyenda Delp

Lyenda Simpson Delp, Managing Director, is the Head of Client Relationship Management for BlackRock's Financial Institutions Group (FIG) - Americas. In this role she manages the client relationship and servicing team and helps to drive overall commercial success for FIG Americas. She is also responsible for directly developing and maintaining relationships with insurance clients. Prior to becoming the Head of the team, she served as Deputy Head and previously a senior Relationship Manager.

Ms. Delp joined the FIG team and BlackRock in 2009. Previously, she was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs which she joined in 2000. In her last role at GS she worked as a Client Portfolio Manager in GSAM's manager-of-manager/OCIO business helping to provide comprehensive multi-asset class portfolio solutions to US and European insurers, pensions, endowments and foundations. Prior to GSAM she spent two years at Deloitte Consulting as a management consultant in the financial services practice.

She earned an MBA with concentrations in finance, marketing and strategy from Carnegie Mellon University and a BSc in chemistry and biochemistry, double major with honors, from the University of the West Indies.

She is a Board Member of the Adoption and Foster Family Coalition of New York (AFFCNY) and a member of the Alumni Board for the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
