Adam Ryan

Adam Ryan, Managing Director, is head of the Diversified Strategies team within BlackRock’s Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions Group. Adam and his team manage a number of benchmark and outcome-oriented mandates for retail and institutional clients around the world.

Mr. Ryan's service with the firm dates back to 1999, including his years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. He was previously Head of Fixed Income for MLIM's Private Client business before developing and managing diversified multi-asset portfolios for both private and institutional clients.

Mr. Ryan earned a BA degree with honours in engineering from Cambridge University in 1991.

Adam’s interests include the challenge of managing dynamic and well diversified portfolios and leading and motivating a highly diverse and intellectually curious team. He also enjoys being outdoors on his mountain bike in his spare time.
