Jenny Riera, CFA, CAIA, CIMA, MBA, Vice President, is a member of the Latin America Offshore Wealth Business at BlackRock. In her current role, Mrs. Riera is the primary relationship manager for several NRI client accounts responsible for the distribution of BlackRock's solutions and thought leadership across various asset classes, including mutual funds, ETFs, and liquid alternatives. She takes on an instrumental role in developing and managing the relationships with US based intermediaries in Miami and the US Southeast territory across various channels, including independent broker-dealers, private banks, RIAs, and family offices, that manage assets primarily on behalf of Latin American investors. She has also previously developed and managed client relationships in the Northeast and South Central territories, including New York and Texas.

 

Prior to joining BlackRock in the summer of 2014, Mrs. Riera started her career within the Institutional Client Group at Citigroup in New York. During her role, she reported to the CAO responsible for the business management of North America Investor Services and was accountable for all levels of product management reporting, including strategic initiatives, financial performance, and key business metrics.

Mrs. Riera earned a BBA in Hospitality Management and was awarded the Valedictorian title from the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland in 2010. She also earned a MBA with a Valedictorian distinction in Finance and Mergers & Acquisition from the University of Miami in Florida in 2013. Mrs. Riera is fluent in German and Spanish. She is also licensed with the Series 7 & Series 66. Mrs. Riera also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) certifications, the latter which is administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute (previously known as IMCA) and taught in conjunction with Yale School of Management.
