Associate, Advisor to the Chairman of BlackRock Investment Institute

Catherine Kress, Associate, is the Advisor to the Chairman of the BlackRock Investment Institute (BII). In this role, she is responsible for supporting the daily obligations of Thomas Donilon and contributing to the development of BII's views on a range of geopolitical issues. This involves preparing presentation materials, speeches, and briefing memos for internal and external speaking engagements, as well as liaising with the firm's investors and key stakeholders on matters of geopolitical importance.

 

Prior to joining BlackRock, Catherine worked as an analyst on Eurasia Group's Global Strategy and Analytics team, where she oversaw the firm's comparative research and drove strategic initiatives on behalf of the founder and president. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Psychology and Anthropology, Catherine completed an MSc in African Studies at Oxford University, where she was a Clarendon Scholar.
