BlackRock’s active ILB strategies employ a fundamental, diversified, relative-value approach that seeks durable alpha by strategically allocating among the highest information ratio trades, while operating within pre-defined risk budgets.

The strategy focuses on real and nominal sovereign bonds, while making tactical allocations to other areas of fixed income. Our portfolios focus on a “pure play” strategy aiming to not overly rely upon spread products to generate alpha.

The team aims to benefit from broader macroeconomic views and insights across the platform as well as BlackRock’s size and scale to help ensure best execution and reduce costs for clients.
