Managing Director, COO of LTPC

Mei Friedman, Managing Director, is the Chief Operating Officer of BlackRock LTPC, based in New York. Mei brings over 20 years of experience in direct private equity investing, primary fund and co-investing, and strategic advisory. Mei currently sits on the boards of Outcomes and Alacrity Solutions.

Prior to joining BlackRock LTPC, Mei was a Managing Director on BlackRock's Private Equity Partners investment team.

Prior to joining BlackRock, Mei headed up the Asian investment team at Swiss Re Private Equity Partners in Hong Kong. Prior to Swiss Re, she ran private equity business development in Asia and China for Angelo, Gordon & Co. Prior to Angelo, Gordon & Co., Mei structured convertible and equity derivative securities at Merrill Lynch's Equity Capital Markets. Mei began her career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch covering industrial clients.

Mei received her MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Economics and Computer Science from Wellesley College.
