Global Head of Aladdin Product
Kunal Khara is the Global Head of Aladdin Product and a member of BlackRock’s Global Executive Committee.
Kunal and his team are responsible for driving the Aladdin, eFront and Preqin product vision and for expanding our platform partnerships with the goal of continually enhancing Aladdin’s value proposition. This team combines product strategy and roadmap execution, product delivery and adoption and commercial strategy for some of our newest offerings.
Previously, Kunal was the Global Head of Financial Institutions for the Aladdin business and the Global Head of Aladdin Platform & Product Services. Prior to that, Kunal was Head of the Americas for the BlackRock Financial Markets Advisory (FMA) group. FMA supports clients across a range of advisory services focusing primarily on balance sheet management, capital markets and transaction support, data and analytics, and risk and regulatory matters.
Before joining FMA in 2012, Kunal was a senior member of the Market Analytics team in BlackRock Solutions and was responsible for managing and evolving the analytics platform and serving as a subject matter expert on risk analytics and financial models. Kunal began his career at BlackRock as an analyst in 2007 as a member of the Portfolio Analytics Group.
Prior to working at BlackRock, Kunal was a Senior Analyst at ALM First Financial Advisors, a firm that provides investment advisory and ALM services to credit unions and banks.
Kunal earned a BS in Business Administration, summa cum laude, with a finance concentration from the University of Texas, Dallas. He is a CFA charterholder.
