Head of Retirement
Jaime Magyera is Head of BlackRock's U.S. Wealth Advisory (USWA) business, Head of BlackRock’s Retirement business, and a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee.
As Head of USWA, she is responsible for leading BlackRock's relationships with wealth management firms and platforms, including some of the largest and fastest growing financial advisors in the U.S. Her USWA team distributes BlackRock's alpha-seeking, iShares, and private markets solutions and drives adoption of BlackRock's portfolio construction, personalized solutions, and digital wealth technologies.
As Head of Retirement, she is focused on accelerating BlackRock’s retirement efforts and initiatives, working with leaders across the firm and the broader industry in a joint ambition to deliver the financial security needed for Americans to enjoy better, longer lives.
Prior to her current roles, Jaime served as Co-Head of USWA from 2023-2025, and as Chief Operating Officer for USWA from 2019-2022. As COO of USWA, she was responsible for overseeing business strategy, as well as ensuring that the organization, including its client, distribution, product, marketing, and technology functions, had the necessary connectivity, operations, and resources to enable growth, manage risk, and drive scale and efficiency.
Previously, Jaime led National Accounts for USWA where she and her team were responsible for strategy, relationship management, and development for some of BlackRock's largest clients. Jaime was also previously head of Retirement Marketing at BlackRock. Jaime’s service with the firm dates back to 2001, including her years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, which merged with BlackRock in 2006.
Over the course of her career, Jaime has held various roles in Retirement, Marketing, Strategy, and Technology. Jaime is a member of the Board of Directors for iCapital. She earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
