Dominik Rohé is Deputy Head of the International Business and Global Head of Client Platform. He is a member of BlackRock’s Global Executive Committee and chairs the firm’s Global Client Committee.
Before assuming his current role, Mr. Rohé led the Americas ETF and Index Investments (EII) business. Earlier, he was Head of Latin America, where he was responsible for all of the firm's activities across the region.
Throughout his career, Mr. Rohé has held a range of senior leadership roles, including Country Manager of Australia and Chairman of the Australian Board, as well as Head of the Wealth and Institutional businesses for Latin America & Iberia. He has also played a key role in the firm’s strategic integrations, contributing to the mergers with Merrill Lynch Investment Management in London and Frankfurt in 2007, BGI's Latin America business in Sao Paulo in 2009, and more recently GIP and HPS in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
Mr. Rohé joined the firm in 2005 from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he spent six years on the private placement and frequent issuer desks within Debt Capital Markets. He began his career in 1997 as an Emerging Markets Credit Analyst at Republic National Bank of New York.
He earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in business administration with a minor in economics from St. Francis College, where he also competed as an NCAA Division I water polo player. Mr. Rohé is a member of the American Council on Germany.
