Managing Director, Head of Long Term Private Capital Europe

Dag Skattum, Managing Director, is the Head of LTPC Europe, based in London. Dag brings over 30 years of experience across private equity and strategic advisory. He also serves as a trusted advisor in Europe to corporate management teams and boards, families and family offices and financial sponsor community.


Dag was most recently Vice Chairman and Member of the Global Banking Management Team at J.P. Morgan where he helped grow the M&A and equity and debt financing business. He also served as Co-Chair of the Global Strategic Advisory Council. He worked closely with bankers to elevate J.P. Morgan’s strategic advisory dialogue with clients and enhance collaboration across the firm.


Dag previously served as a Partner at TPG capital, where he helped drive sourcing and expand relationships with management teams, families and other potential counterparties.


Prior to TPG, Dag was Co-Head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions at J.P. Morgan where he held M&A and advisory leadership responsibilities across sectors including industrials, technology, financial and business services. He also has significant Board experience, advising on investment and capital allocation decisions.


Dag currently serves as the chairman of Right To Play, a global NGO that works to protect, educate, and empower over 2 million of the world’s most vulnerable children across Africa, the Middle East and Asia using the power of play.


Dag received an MBA from the University of Rochester and a BA from Allegheny College.
