BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth Enables Cathay United Bank Private Banking to advance End-to-End Wealth Management Capabilities
The private bank aims to provide clients with holistic portfolio insights, personalized advice, and a seamless experience.
Hong Kong/Singapore, 1 June, 2026 – Cathay United Bank Private Banking (CUBPB) has become the first private bank in Taiwan to go live on BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth, broadening its wealth management platform and marking a significant milestone for the industry. Combined with a recently completed core system upgrade, the implementation is expected to strengthen the bank’s advisory capabilities and deliver a more seamless client experience across Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Leveraging Aladdin Wealth, CUBPB will enhance the end-to-end operating model with workflow integration and data consistency across advisory processes, enabling a more disciplined, data-driven approach to portfolio management. Built on quantitative analytics and portfolio insights, CUBPB’s wealth management platform is also expected to strengthen straight-through-processing (STP) efficiency and risk management, supporting a scalable one-stop wealth management experience for clients.
In addition, Aladdin Wealth will support CUBPB’s relationship managers by enhancing client management, improving portfolio oversight, and accelerating proposal generation, delivering timely, client-specific insights. Investment consultants will also benefit from a unified platform for managing product information, streamlining workflows, and strengthening risk management, while portfolio advisory teams will be equipped with comprehensive portfolio tools that help accelerate advisory delivery and deepen client engagement.
