An executive insights series for board members
BlackRock is launching a series of in-person educational sessions for Danish pension board members. Building on the strong engagement and positive feedback from similar initiatives in the Netherlands and Sweden, the series aims to provide a forum for peer exchange and discussion of key themes shaping the investment landscape.
The series aims to support board-level decision-making by providing perspectives on themes that are increasingly relevant to long-term governance, investment strategy, and risk oversight in a complex and rapidly evolving global environment.

The current macro situation and geopolitical risks - what does it mean for investors?
The first session will explore how the rapidly evolving investment landscape is being shaped by shifting macroeconomic conditions, geopolitical developments, and a changing policy environment. We will examine the key risks and opportunities arising from these trends and consider their implications for long-term investment outcomes and pension portfolios.
The discussion will focus on four key themes:
• The new macro regime and its implications for returns, inflation, and diversification
• The U.S. post-midterm election policy landscape, including potential implications for growth, trade, regulation, and capital markets
• Geopolitical fragmentation and its impact on investment risks and opportunities
• Structural investment trends and how to build resilient portfolios in an increasingly uncertain world
