Principles for Responsible Investment

BlackRock has been a signatory to the United Nations supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) since 2008. Our participation as a signatory primarily consists of responding to PRI’s annual survey in service to our clients who are interested in PRI's assessment. From time to time, we may also participate in asset class specific working groups.

BlackRock’s 2024 PRI Assessment Highlights

BlackRock’s 2024 Assessment Report reflects the 2023 calendar year.

• BlackRock maintained or improved its scores across 96% of this year’s assessment.
• 96% of the modules produced four- or five-star rankings for BlackRock.
• BlackRock scored four- or five- stars (90% or above) for the Confidence Building Measures module and the following direct asset classes: Real Estate, Private Equity, Fixed Income (SSA), Fixed Income (Corporate), Fixed Income (Private Debt), Fixed income (Securitised), and Infrastructure.
