Caroline Heller

Global Head of Human Resources

Caroline Heller, Senior Managing Director, is the Global Head of Human Resources for BlackRock and a member of its Global Executive Committee.

Ms. Heller had been Head of Talent & Business Partners for the firm. Prior to joining BlackRock in May 2021, Ms. Heller had spent over 20 years at Goldman Sachs. There she held several leadership roles in Human Capital Management (HCM), including serving as Head of the Business Partner and Talent Acquisition teams. Previous to that role, Ms. Heller was the Head of Talent Management with responsibility for business partners, talent assessment, organizational research and organizational design.  Previously she was the Head of HCM for the Global Markets Division.  Ms. Heller served on the HCM Executive Committee, the HCM Business Advisory Group and as an advisor to the Goldman Sachs Global Diversity Committee.  Ms. Heller was the Managing Director sponsor for the HCM Women’s Network and a Managing Director ally of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Network. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ms. Heller worked in recruiting at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Ms. Heller earned a B.A. in Psychology from Northwestern University in 1999.
