Fast Forward

BlackRock Philanthropy partnership with Fast Forward

We partnered with Google.org to provide a grant to Fast Forward, the world’s only accelerator exclusively for tech non-profits, to incubate nine startups using technology to solve problems in our communities —  from getting food to the hungry to providing training for inner city youth. We will continue our support in 2016.

BlackRock Philanthropy partnership with Code.org

Our CEO, Larry Fink, joined Bill Gates, Eric Schmidt, Jeff Bezos, Jack Dorsey, Reid Hoffman and many others as a signatory of a landmark letter calling on the U.S. Congress to support computer science education nationwide through $250 million in new federal funding. We also donated $1 million to Code.org to support free online curriculum development and teacher training.
