On January 13, 2020, the BlackRock Energy & Resources Portfolio (the “Target Fund”) was reorganized into the BlackRock All-Cap Energy & Resources Portfolio (the “Acquiring Fund”), and shareholders of the Target Fund received shares of the Acquiring Fund. The reorganization was not subject to approval by shareholders. Immediately following the reorganization, the Acquiring Fund changed its name to the BlackRock Energy Opportunities Fund.
