Chapter three: Getting ready for retirement

  • As retirement approaches near, it’s likely a lot of questions will begin to pop up.

Questions like: when can I retire, how much will it cost, what if I outlive my savings? And what to do if the markets become volatile?

That’s why it’s important to have a plan for both investing and spending in retirement.

It may be a good idea to check and make sure your portfolio is invested appropriately. As well as obtain an estimate of your Social Security savings.

The goal is to make your savings last over many years, while sustainably spending and drawing down on your savings.

Because when you make the most out of your investments, you can make the most out of your time in retirement.
