Brett M. Mossman, CAIA, Managing Director, is a member of BlackRock's Global Client Group. He leads BlackRock’s Portfolio Solutions group. This team is comprised of specialized groups that provide Portfolio Strategy, Portfolio Consulting, ETF Product Consulting, and Active Product Consulting expertise. The group conducts detailed client consulting engagements around portfolio construction and risk management to assist with asset allocation, portfolio structure, and implementation decisions.

Mr. Mossman's service with the firm dates back to 2007, including his time with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which merged with BlackRock in late 2009. Prior to BGI, he worked in Asset Management at JPMorgan Chase, consulting institutional clients and consultants on investment strategies delivered through institutional mutual funds, commingled trust funds, separately managed accounts, and structured products. Prior to that, he worked within the private banking division at JPMorgan Chase where he advised C-level executives and private business owners on issues and strategies regarding executive compensation, concentrated wealth, and asset monetization/ exit strategies. Mr. Mossman has been in the asset management industry since 1996.

Mr. Mossman earned a BBA degree from Fordham University with a concentration in Finance.
