BlackRock MyMap Range

Do more with MyMap

Capital at risk. The value of investments and the income from them can fall as well as rise and are not guaranteed. Investors may not get back the amount originally invested.

With interest on cash Individual Saving Accounts (ISA) at record lows, 2021 is the year to do more with your ISA allowance and invest in BlackRock’s MyMap range of funds.

We created MyMap for those British savers who find managing their investments too time consuming. Our goal is to make the switch from saving to investing as simple as possible.

Doing more with lower fees

An ISA is a savings account that allows you to invest in cash, stocks and bonds without paying any tax on the interest and returns you make.

In addition to the tax savings inherent in ISA investing, the MyMap range of funds keeps fees at just 0.17% while still providing access to BlackRock’s global expertise. The MyMap range of funds is built using low-cost funds that track the performance of stock and bond markets. Our expert managers then invest in different stock and bond funds based on where they see the best return potential.

Risk: There is no guarantee that a positive investment outcome will be achieved.

Doing more to control risk

Each MyMap fund also offers a different level of risk to match your long-term goals and financial situation. In addition, MyMap funds are diversified across stocks, bonds and other investments, meaning they invest in assets with different patterns of returns. This may potentially limit any losses when markets are falling.

Risk: While the investment approach described herein seeks to control risk, risk cannot be eliminated.

Doing more to reflect your values

We believe investing in environmental, social and governance (ESG) funds is not just about your beliefs, passions and convictions, our analysis shows that it may also help with long-term returns and provide resilience and diversification when markets are volatile. We see more investors seeking sustainable investment solutions that are focused on their long-term futures, while regulators and governments are putting greater emphasis on incorporating ESG into the decision-making process. All of the MyMap funds incorporate analysis of ESG factors into the decision-making process including latest addition, MyMap 5 Select ESG fund.

Risk Warnings

Capital at risk. The value of investments and the income from them can fall as well as rise and are not guaranteed. Investors may not get back the amount originally invested.

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of current or future results and should not be the sole factor of consideration when selecting a product or strategy.

Changes in the rates of exchange between currencies may cause the value of investments to diminish or increase. Fluctuation may be particularly marked in the case of a higher volatility fund and the value of an investment may fall suddenly and substantially. Levels and basis of taxation may change from time to time.

Description of Fund Risks

Counterparty Risk
The insolvency of any institutions providing services such as safekeeping of assets or acting as counterparty to derivatives or other instruments, may expose the Fund to financial loss.

Credit Risk
A main risk related to fixed income investing is credit risk. Credit risk refers to the possibility that the issuer of the bond will not be able to repay the principal and make interest payments.

Currency Risk
The Fund invests in other currencies. Changes in exchange rates will therefore affect the value of the investment.

Equity Risk
The value of equities and equity-related securities can be affected by daily stock market movements. Other influential factors include political, economic news, company earnings and significant corporate events.

Liquidity Risk
The Fund's investments may have low liquidity which often causes the value of these investments to be less predictable. In extreme cases, the Fund may not be able to realise the investment at the latest market price or at a price considered fair.
