Joseph Gankiewicz, CFA, Vice President, is a credit research analyst for the Municipal Bond Team within BlackRock's Global Fixed Income group. His primary responsibilities include tax-backed, project finance, and special situations.

 

Mr. Gankiewicz's service with the firm dates back to 2004, including his years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. Prior to his current role, Mr. Gankiewicz was a member of the Global Client Group where he advised retail clients on investments and asset allocation.

 

Mr. Gankiewicz earned a BA in Financial Economics from Rutgers University in 2003 and an MPA in International Economic Policy from Columbia University in 2012. He is a CFA charterholder.
