Chris Leavy, CFA, Managing Director, is Chief Investment Officer of U.S. Fundamental Equity and is also Head of the U.S. Large Cap Series Equity Team and has primary portfolio management responsibility for these products.

Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Leavy spent 10 years at OppenheimerFunds, where his most recent role was Chief Investment Officer for the firm's $80 billion equity group. He also ran and built out the firm's Value Equity Team, where he delivered top quintile performance on the team's flagship fund and was recognized by Barron's as a top 100 manager. Before joining OppenheimerFunds, he led a four person investment team at Morgan Stanley Asset Management with responsibility for Large Cap Core Equity portfolios totaling $6 billion.

Mr. Leavy holds a BA in economics from Trinity University and a MBA from Columbia Business School.
