Eric Tawney

Vice President, Americas Real Assets Research & Strategy

Eric Tawney is member of Global Real Assets Research and Strategy within BlackRock Alternative Investors. In his role, Eric is responsible for primary research supporting investment strategy and portfolio construction for the firm's real estate and infrastructure equity and debt mandates.

 

Prior to his current role, Eric spent three years as a Credit Research analyst in the Municipal Group within Global Fixed Income, where he covered state and local government and non-profit healthcare securities. In this role, he provided credit recommendations on several prominent distressed municipal exposures and supported financial modeling and analysis of state and local public pension plans.

 

Eric began his career at BlackRock in 2014 as a member of the Investment Analyst Program. Eric earned a Master's degree in Public Policy with an emphasis in financial markets and economic policy from the University of Chicago and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in finance and economics, magna cum laude, from Oakland University.
