Olaolu Aganga, Director, is Senior Client CIO for Endowments, Foundations and Healthcare within Multi-Asset Strategies and Solutions (MASS) in the Americas.
The Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) team is the investment group at the heart of BlackRock's portfolio construction, asset allocation and active management ecosystem. MASS draws on the full toolkit of BlackRock's index, factor and alpha-seeking investment capabilities to deliver precise investment outcomes and cutting-edge alpha insights. MASS constructs active asset allocation strategies and whole portfolio solutions across a wide spectrum of commingled funds, separate accounts, model portfolios and outsourcing solutions in the wealth and institutional channels.
As Client CIO, Ms. Aganga is responsible for the investment performance on client mandates and for delivering the best of BlackRock's investment thinking through strategic asset allocation design, portfolio construction, manager selection and tactical asset allocation. Prior to joining BlackRock in April 2018, Ms. Aganga spent seven years at Goldman Sachs. While there she advised institutional clients on a variety of investment solutions, including the use of factor based strategies and derivatives to optimize their investment exposure. Prior to Goldman, she spent six years at Citigroup in various structuring, advisory and trading roles.
Ms. Aganga earned a BA in Mathematics from Smith College, an MBA and a Certificate in Public Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business and holds the Series 3, 7, 24, 55 and 63 FINRA licenses. Ms. Aganga currently serves on the Stanford Graduate School of Business Alumni Board.
