James Wiviott

James Wiviott is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at Brighthouse Financial. In this role, he is responsible for the management of Brighthouse’s approximately $100 billion General Account investment portfolio.Prior to joining Brighthouse, Jim spent 30-years at MetLife most recently as Global Head of MetLife’s High Grade Corporate Bond Group. In this role, he was responsible for the performance of MetLife’s public high grade corporate bond, municipal bond and emerging markets portfolios. Prior to this position, Mr. Wiviott headed MetLife’s Leveraged Finance Group, where he was responsible for syndicated bank loans, bridge loans and middle market lending. He has an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an MBA from the University of Michigan. For the participants in “Thinking differently”.
