After speaking to over 500 wealthy Swiss people about their finances, BlackRock has been able to gain a fascinating insight into the minds of savers and investors.

The Swiss Wealth Investor Pulse survey takes an in-depth look at people’s attitude to money. We asked people about their priorities, concerns and how they invest. Here, we unveil five key findings.

Swiss HNWs are very positive about their finances. But just under this veneer of confidence lie a number of concerns and contradictions. Top financial goals include retirement provisions and leaving an inheritance, but more than a third are concerned about having a decent income in retirement.

Source: BlackRock research conducted between the end of February and the beginning of March 2015 amongst a nationally representative sample of 502 high net worth private individuals aged 25+. 302 private individuals had investable wealth of between CHF 500k and CHF 999k, and 197 had more than CHF 1mn.
