Dominik Rohe

Head of Latin America

Dominik Rohe is Head of Latin America and is responsible for all of BlackRock's activities across the region. He is a member of the Global Operating Committee, the International Executive Committee, the Global Client Council, the Human Capital Committee and chairs the Latin America Executive Committee.

 

Before assuming his current role, Mr. Rohe was Country Head of Australia and Chairman of the Australian Board, responsible for all business activity in Australasia.

 

Mr. Rohe service with BlackRock dates back to 2005. Prior to his move to Australia, he held a number of leadership positions, including Head of the Wealth and Institutional businesses for the Latin America & Iberia region where he was responsible for building BlackRock's business across both client segments, overseeing teams across seven BlackRock offices in the region. In addition, Mr. Rohe has been part of BlackRock's merger integration teams, having worked in 2007 on the integration of Merrill Lynch Investment Management in London and Frankfurt and in 2009 on the integration of BGI's Latin America business in Sao Paulo.

 

Prior to joining BlackRock in 2005, Mr. Rohe worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein on the private placement and frequent issuer desks within Debt Capital Markets for six years. He began his career in 1997 as an Emerging Markets Credit Analyst at Republic National Bank of New York. Mr. Rohe earned a BA degree, cum laude, in business administration with a minor in economics from St. Francis College.

 

Mr. Rohe is a member of the American Council in Germany.
